Don't let trouble , trouble you!

One of the things that I notice about many people is that they will let trouble, trouble them.  They set out to accomplish something and because the weather isn't right, or money is tight, they just give up on it.  They rarely consider the trouble as an opportunity from God to reconsider their actions or to tweak their plans a little bit in order to make them better.  They just automatically assume that this thing they want to do is somehow not meant for them.

On last Friday, I had some big plans!  I was excited about them and even got started working on the plans and had a massive derailment!  The derailment completely immobilized me for the entire weekend!  Where everyone else said to me, "I am sorry you weren't able to make your engagements", my thought was, "I won't be able to make them TODAY!"  I regrouped, rescheduled the ones that I could, and was able to find a way to one!

So now, looking back, I see that my derailment was actually a gift from God.  I was moving very quickly to get my tasks done, and had been moving fast all week to keep up with my own schedule!  I was feeling VERY tired, but needed to press on, feeling that I needed to keep the engagements, and be a person of my word.  God, our glorious and gracious father, had other plans for me however.  When I look back on the weekend, it gave me a chance to get some much needed rest, and today, I feel rejuvenated!  My calendar is less full this week, compared to last week, therefore I am able to keep my remaining commitments without feeling worn down.

So you see, having a few bumps in the road, don't have to keep you from fulfilling your plans!  If you have the right attitude and an open mind, you may see that God has actually set you up to accomplish your goals a lot easier than you had planned yourself!  If you keep this in mind, then chances are, trouble WON'T trouble you!
